Hallo zusammen!
Ich bin auf der Suche nach ein paar Pro and Con arguments:) Und würde es super finden, wenn ihr mir mal eure meinung dazu schreiben würdet:)!
Considering your knowledge about Shakespeare's sonnets, do you believe that they are still worth reading today?

I'll be honest, my knowledge of Shakespeare's sonnets is rather limited. Actually, the only thing I had to read of Shakespeare's in school was "Hamlet." Twice, actually. |

Well, yeah. Despite the fact that the politics of the play are outdated and mostly irrelevant to modern society, Shakespeare's works are more about the human condition (feelings, emotions, interactions between people, love, jealousy, betrayal, etc.), which will always be relevant to us (until we stop being human, of course). |

Reading these sonnets would be an absolute waste of time. Frankly spoken. The English has changed totally since Shakespear's days, better is to be taught contemporary English.
Shakespears dramas however are well worth studying.
Btw - you know the difference of sonnet's and sonnets' ? |
