Four weeks left to apply for ESMTs executive education scholarships02.06.2014 - (idw) European School of Management and Technology (ESMT)
Women in leadership positions can still apply for an executive education scholarship awarded by ESMT European School of Management and Technology until June 30, 2014. Candidates are required to send a cover letter with a completed application form, a CV, and a statement of motivation and qualification for the scholarship via e-mail.
The scholarships are each valued at 17,500 EUR and address experienced female leaders who have showed entrepreneurial initiative in the course of their careers, and who can demonstrate tangible results in their areas of responsibility. ESMT will award two full scholarships for the German-speaking General Management Seminar beginning in September 2014, and two partial scholarships for the Executive Transition Program, which starts in October 2014.
Both programs are designed for managers who plan to, or have already, taken on a senior executive position. The General Management Seminar is made up of three one-week modules, which take place from September to November 2014 in Schloss Gracht near Cologne. Areas of focus include strategic and value-oriented management, leadership and change management, among others.
The Executive Transition Program takes place in Berlin and Schloss Gracht, and is taught in three modules of ten days each between October 2014 and June 2015. The first module provides a foundation for function-oriented management skills, while the second module focuses on cross-functional aspects, and includes a stay in Brussels to explore the influence of European institutions on corporate governance and investment opportunities. The third session focuses on putting leadership into action and on the application of acquired knowledge in different contexts.
The scholarships for the General Management Seminar cover full tuition costs, including educational materials and meals on campus, while the Executive Transition Program scholarships comprise almost two-thirds of the total costs.
