New in Cologne: HHL Part-Time Management Program03.09.2014 - (idw) HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management
Germany's leading business school and hotbed for entrepreneurs offers its part-time MBA Program in Cologne as of March 2015 / HHL information event in Cologne on November 10, 2014
Starting in March 2015, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management will offer its academic part-time Master Program in Management (MBA) not only in Leipzig but also in Cologne. The part-time MBA will follow the part-time M.Sc. Program already taught at Cologne Mediapark.
The two-year program for applicants from mid-level and upper management is characterized by its compact structure. The weekend classes take place in Cologne once a month, with the two residential weeks in Leipzig. This ensures a close connection to the HHL network as well as short distances to the study location. Important for employees studying while on the job: HHL's new training offer in Cologne is highly flexible with Leipzig as an additional optional study location.
The participants gain international experience not only because of English as the language of instruction and the heterogeneous class with 30 percent of students having foreign roots, but also because of the integrated study abroad period in Boston, MA, in the U.S. Additionally, the students can also complete modules abroad in Brazil, China and India
HHL's part-time MBA scores points for career progress, salary increase and international course experience
HHL's part-time MBA Program, which achieved top rankings in last year's Financial Times rating for career progress of its alumni (2nd place worldwide), salary increase after graduation (almost 70 percent) as well as the international course experience (7th place worldwide), offers its students coaching and career counseling upon request. The participants also benefit greatly from HHL's extensive network, which expands their personal and business contacts.
Former State Minister of Economic Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia and current Dean of HHL, Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, says, "The classes held in English teach the basics of economics in combination with concrete management tools. HHL focuses its content on the fields of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, innovation management as well as strategic management. Due to the participants' various academic and professional experience, e. g. the fields of engineering, IT, finance, medicine and law, they have the opportunity to exchange views and learn from each other through case studies and group work."
A university degree and proof of several years of professional experience are the prerequisites for an application. Good to know: The tuition fees as well as all other program-related costs are fully tax-deductible as professional expenses. Moreover, HHL offers a variety of scholarship and funding options.
