36th Annual IATUL Conference 2015: Call for papers and posters09.01.2015 - (idw) Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB)
Proposals to be submitted by 13 February 2015
The German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) will be hosting the 36th Annual IATUL Conference 2015 of the International Association of University Libraries (IATUL) with the title Strategic Partnerships for Access and Discovery in Hannover from 5 to 9 July 2015. The conference language will be English.
The call for papers and posters ends on 13 February 2015. Contributions to the 36th Annual IATUL Conference 2015 may be submitted on the following topics:
- Library Strategy and Management
Methods of strategic planning and steering
- Strategic Partnerships
International and national networks and alliances for improving library services
- Changing Environment for Librarians
In between new types of publication, access options and discovery tools challenges and solutions
- Open Science/Science 2.0
Enabling networked web-based scientific collaboration

New approaches and best practices for data repositories
- Non-textual Information
Novel ways to provide added value while managing growing data volumes

The German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) in Hannover is Germanys National Library for all areas of engineering as well as architecture, chemistry, information technology, mathematics and physics. It primarily supplies the national and international research community and industry with literature and information. TIB has an excellent collection of fundamental and highly specialised literature of science and technology. GetInfo is TIBs portal for specialist and research information in science and technology. More than 160 million data sets are currently available. A variety of knowledge objects such as audiovisual media, 3D models and research data are integrated in GetInfo.
